So in this tutorial we are are using "Construct 2" for making android games.
Construct 2 is an software used for making games,themes and many more. It is an very easy engine to make games in your PC . Construct 2 is very popular engine to make games and themes.
Before using construct 2 you have all of these PC specification -
• Processor - Intel core 2 or above
• Ram - 3 GB or above
• Graphic card - 1 GB video memory or above
• Display - 1280 x 768
• Operating System - Windows 7 or above
Important Shortcut keys of construct 2 :-
• +
(By this shortcut key you can zoom your dashboard in the making of your game)
• -
(By this shortcut key you can zoom out you game dashboard)
• CTRL + A
(By this shortcut key you can select all files in one action)
• CTRL + D
(By this shortcut key you can create file duplicate many times)
• CTRL + S
(By this shortcut key you can increase and decrease the image size)
Beginning tutorial of Construct 2
• For the beginners , lets start an tutorial of game :-
Follow the steps of an android racing game :-
Step 1- First, Open construct 2 and run it to administrator.
Step 2 - After, Click on the option of "New Project" given in the start menu.
Step 3 - After , Click on the "New empty project' in the first column. After click on the "Open" option.
Step 4 - After you can change your project name , description , E - Mail and ID . You can change project settings.
Step 6 - You can fix the camera height by the shortcut key of "+" .After pressing this shortcut key you can see your project dashboard clearly , You can increase dashboard size from the by pressing the boundaries of your project.
Step 7 - After , you can increase the project dashboard in the "layout Setting" . You can see width and height , you can edit it . So we make it width - 2750 and Height - 1260 for best project boundaries experience.
Step 8 - After , You need assets for your game, you can download it from the internet.
(The assets should be in the 2D version)
Step 9 - After , Click on the right button of the mouse . You can see an option of "Tiled background" click on it.
Step 10 - After , you can see the option for edit images, to insert an image , You can see an option of "Load an image file" that is appear in the icon in the upper menu.
Step 11 - After , You can insert assets in your game . For the background we select grass asset .
Step 12 - After , we add an bike asset in the dashboard .
(Name the object (bike)
Step 13 - To code this bike , First select bike by clicking left button of mouse. After go to the object properties , There you can see an option of "Behaviour" Click on it. After click on the + button given in the upper menu , there you have to select 'Scroll to" and 'Car' . After the bike is ready to move.
(Set the angle of bike -90 in its properties and after right click on the bike go to the edit animation and you can see an option of right angle click on it)
(To run the project file go to the home option there you can see an option of "Run Layout' click on it. After you can run your project)
Step 14 - To code the enemy , First select the enemy . Add "Pathfinding" behaviour on the enemy , After go to the "Event Sheet" given in the upper menu.There click on 'Add an event' . After Go to the setting option scroll down to the end you can see an option of 'Every X Second" click on it set its interval time to '0.5' second click on done. After click on "Add Action" . Double click on the enemy , you find an option of "Find Path" click on it . After click on the X box . write there bike.X and after click on enter After click on the Y box and write bike.Y and after click on done . After click on the add event option double click on the enemy , After click on the "On Path Found" After double click on the enemy and select "Move along Path"And after click on the event right click and click on the add option there you can see an option "Add an sub event " click on it.After go to the settings click on the "Repeat" option and write "enemy.Pathfinding.NodeCount" And after your enemy is coded.

Step 15 - After you can decorate the background with your assets.
Step 16 - To export project go to the home option there you can see an option of "Export" click on it . After you can save your project file.
